Hey everyone! It has been a while since I’ve checked in here. I went to Maine to visit family during vacation and did not bring my computer. Since then I have just been focusing on getting back into the swing of school and working out.
I have a lot of great posts coming your way including a new workout, updates, and some information about paleo (which I have been following lately and loving). But here are a few things I have been loving lately.
I have fairly recently found love in cookbooks! I love ordering and perusing through different cookbooks, and trying out the different recipes. I also love paleo cookbooks because I know that I will be getting a healthy and delicious meal! Here are some of my recent favorites. Continue reading

After a 5 AM workout, which consisted of Cardio Fix Extreme (whew) I refueled with some Peanut Butter Banana Overnight Oats. These are currently my favorite breakfast and you can find the recipe over on Tone It Up.
Hi everyone and Happy Monday! Here is my second weekend recap for the blog and looking back on my pictures I was a little confused about where my weekend began. I am a teacher in the Boston area and we had a snowday Thursday, Friday and today! So I have had a 5 day weekend and we have vacation next week. I did end up figuring out where the ACTUAL weekend began so lets go back to Friday!
For me, going to the gym everyday is unrealistic. I workout at 5:00 in the morning on the regular, and for me to get out of my apartment and even walk across the street to my apartment complex’s gym is not going to happen. I have found success in working out from home. While I believe you can get in a great workout without any equipment, over the years I have gathered some basic equipment that has helped me take my workouts to the next level, all from the comfort of my living room.
My current home gym resides in the corner of my living room, and could use a little improvement in the organization area, but in this small space this is what works for now. Here’s what I have!
